In the Sumy region, a Russian drone killed a Ukrenergo dispatcher

An employee of NEC “Ukrenergo” was killed in the Sumy region as a result of an attack by a Russian FPV drone. The victim was Mykola Mironov, a senior dispatcher with the Sumy Operational Management Group.

The company announced the employee’s death on Monday, noting that a Russian drone had attacked him over the weekend.

“Our colleague had just arrived at a store when an ordinary civilian vehicle was attacked by a Russian FPV drone. Unfortunately, Mykola sustained very serious injuries and died. His wife is currently in the hospital,” the company stated.

“Mykola Mironov dedicated more than 25 years to working in the energy sector. Even during these difficult years, he did not abandon his profession, despite the constant shelling of energy facilities in the frontline region. Colleagues remember Mykola Volodymyrovych as an honest, kind, and principled person, as well as a highly professional specialist,” the company noted.

"Ukrenergo" expressed its condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

This was reported by Ukrenergo.
