Russian forces launched a missile strike on the village of Pechenigi in the Kharkiv region. The attack killed 10 people and injured eight others. Civilian infrastructure was also damaged.
“The occupiers launched a missile strike on Pechenigi. According to preliminary information, 10 people were killed. Another 8 people were injured. They are receiving all necessary medical care,” he said.
According to Synyegubov, the strike damaged 10 private homes, a café, a post office, a store, and at least 7 cars.
Emergency services are dealing with the aftermath of the attack.

The Main Intelligence Directorate warned of a possible Russian offensive against the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions this winter.
Over the course of August 17, Russian troops attacked 59 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, killing two people and wounding four others. Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported on the consequences of the Russian strikes.
As a reminder, air defense systems were activated in the Kyiv region due to a Russian attack.
