In the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk Oblast, Russian invaders have stepped up checks on citizens who have not obtained Russian passports ahead of the September “elections” to the Russian State Duma.

This was reported by Oleksiy Kharchenko, head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration.

“In preparation for the September Duma elections, the invaders have stepped up checks in the so-called ‘LPR’ on citizens who do not wish to obtain a Russian passport. For refusing to be forced to obtain Russian-style documents and for planning to boycott the vote, the occupiers are initially imposing an administrative fine of 40,000 rubles. They continue to exert pressure, threatening deportation,” Kharchenko wrote.

He also reported that in Sievierodonetsk, the occupiers have set up training classes for UAV operators on the premises of the Eastern Ukrainian University.

“The recruitment of young people into the Russian Federation’s army continues. They are enrolling individuals aged 18 and older in these courses—those who can soon be sent to the front,” noted the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration.

On the evening of June 25, Russia again attacked Kyiv with missiles. Debris was reported to have fallen in the Darnytskyi district, and it later emerged that a fire had broken out in a warehouse.

On the evening of June 25, Russian troops launched another attack on Kyiv using ballistic missiles. Explosions were heard in the capital, and air defense forces began engaging enemy targets.
