Air defense forces destroyed 3 ballistic missiles and 174 drones during a massive attack by Russia
Ukraine’s air defense forces intercepted 3 ballistic missiles and 174 drones used by the Russian military to attack Ukrainian territory beginning on the evening of June 25.
According to military reports, starting at 6:00 p.m. on June 25, the enemy launched a massive barrage using various types of missiles and drones.
In particular, Russian forces launched seven Iskander-M ballistic missiles at the Kyiv and Poltava regions. The launches were carried out from areas in the Bryansk and Kursk regions of the Russian Federation.
Additionally, 189 attack drones were launched, including “Shahed” drones, “Gerbera” and “Italmas” jet drones, as well as “Parody”-type decoy drones. The launches were carried out from the territory of the Russian Federation and temporarily occupied areas of Ukraine.
The attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces.
As of 09:00, the destruction or neutralization of 177 aerial targets has been confirmed, including 3 missiles and 174 drones of various types.
At the same time, strikes were recorded at 12 locations, including four missiles and 11 attack UAVs, as well as the fall of debris from downed targets at six locations.
The Air Force noted that some Russian drones may still be present in Ukrainian airspace and urged citizens to follow safety guidelines.

In addition, in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv, rescue workers extinguished a fire that broke out as a result of a Russian missile strike, according to the State Emergency Service of Kyiv.
On the night of June 26, Russian troops carried out another attack on energy and civilian infrastructure in the southern part of the Odesa region. As a result of the strike, some settlements were left without power, and one person was injured.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops carried out 887 attacks on 44 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of the shelling, one person was killed and ten others were wounded.
