A second drone has washed ashore on the Turkish coast in the last five days

In the Turkish province of Bartın, on the Black Sea coast, a second unmanned aerial vehicle has been discovered in the last five days.

“The drone was found on Chakraz Beach in the Amasra district. Enhanced security measures were implemented at the scene,” the news agency reported.

During an inspection, the gendarmerie determined that the drone contained no ammunition. The drone was seized and sent to Ankara for examination.

According to law enforcement officials, the drone found on Chakraz Beach is similar to one discovered five days ago on Kapisuyu Beach in the Kurukashile district.

It is noted that the drone had been in the water for a long time and was damaged. It was determined that its body and propellers were made of expanded polystyrene, its propeller blades were made of wood, and its mounting brackets were made of plastic.

This was reported by the IHA news agency.

As a reminder, on June 15, an armed drone that had washed ashore was discovered on Turkey’s Black Sea coast in the province of Bartın.
