The highest number of Russian attacks recorded on the Pokrovsk axis — General Staff
Russian troops continue assaulting the positions of Ukrainian defenders, with the largest number of attacks recorded on the Pokrovsk axis.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the military command, since the beginning of the day 99 combat engagements have occurred along the frontline. The enemy shelled seven settlements in Sumy and Chernihiv regions with artillery.
On the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, Russian forces carried out 52 shelling attacks. On the Southern Slobozhanshchyna axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven attacks near three settlements, while two clashes are still ongoing. No enemy offensives were recorded on the Kupiansk axis.
On the Lyman axis, the occupiers attacked six times near four settlements. On the Sloviansk axis, Ukrainian troops repelled two enemy attacks toward Riznykivka. On the Kramatorsk axis, the enemy attempted to advance three timesnear Vasiukivka and Chasiv Yar.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled 12 enemy attacks in the areas of seven settlements.
On the Pokrovsk axis, Russian forces made 27 attempts to push Ukrainian troops from their positions near Nykanorivka, Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Dachne, and Filiia, as well as toward Kucheriv Yar, Nove Shakhove, and Hryshyne. The Defense Forces have already repelled 22 attacks.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, the enemy attacked six times near six settlements. On the Huliaipole axis, Ukrainian forces repelled 23 attacks near Huliaipole and toward Dobropillia, Varvarivka, Zelene, and Pryluky. Thirteen clashes are still ongoing. The village of Verkhnia Tersa was hit by air-dropped guided bombs (KABs).
No enemy offensive actions have been recorded on the Orikhiv and Dnipro (Prydniprovske) axes so far.
