Video: Ground robot rescues civilian after Russian drone attack
Soldiers from the FATUM unit of the 60th Separate Mechanized Brigade evacuated an injured civilian using a ground-based robotic system. The man was injured in a strike by a Russian drone, and the rescue operation was captured on video.
FATUM operators located the man after the strike, administered first aid, immobilized his injured leg with a splint, and evacuated him using a ground-based robotic system.
Drivers, medics, and civil-military cooperation specialists from the 60th Mechanized Brigade also participated in the evacuation.
The Third Army Corps urges residents of frontline settlements not to delay evacuation until it becomes impossible to leave, and to ensure the safety of their loved ones in advance.
The video was published by Ukrainian defenders on their Telegram channel.
As a reminder, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have adopted a new ground robot, the “Bizon-L.”
The “Khmarynka” kamikaze drone, with a range of up to 50 km, was unveiled in Ukraine.
Recently, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine codified and approved for use by the Armed Forces of Ukraine three fiber-optic FPV systems manufactured by enterprises of JSC “Ukrainian Defense Industry.”
Prior to this, the Ministry of Defense had standardized and approved the domestic “Volynyaka” unmanned aerial system for use by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
