Several regions were left without power following a massive attack by Russia

Last night, Russian occupiers carried out yet another combined attack on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. As a result of damage to the power grid, some consumers in six regions were left without electricity.

This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.

The Russians used both strike drones and missile weapons, targeting power generation and transmission facilities in various regions of the country.

“The enemy has once again carried out a combined, massive attack on energy infrastructure in several regions. As a result, some consumers are temporarily without power,” the Ministry of Energy noted.

Following the enemy’s attack, a number of regions were left partially without power:

  • Zaporizhzhia
  • Odesa
  • Poltava
  • Sumy
  • Kharkiv
  • Kherson

In most regions, the outages are temporary. Utility workers have already begun emergency repair work to restore power to residential customers and critical infrastructure as quickly as possible.

“Today, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., hourly power outage schedules will be in effect for all categories of consumers in most regions of Ukraine. Power restriction schedules for industry will also remain in effect until the end of the day,” the agency added.

Local authorities are urging citizens to use electricity sparingly once power is restored to avoid overloading damaged grid components.

On the night of March 24, 2026, Russian occupation forces launched a massive missile and drone strike on Poltava and the Poltava region.

As a reminder, Russian forces carried out another combined attack on Ukraine, using strike drones and cruise missiles.

Additionally, in Znamianka, 20 houses were damaged following a drone attack.
