The occupiers struck a gas station in Sumy; people were injured

On Friday, June 26, Russian occupation forces carried out yet another terrorist attack on civilian infrastructure in the city of Sumy, striking a gas station.

The enemy attack sparked a massive fire and injured people who were near the site of the strike.

Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene to deal with the aftermath of yet another war crime committed by the Russian Federation.

Employees of the State Emergency Service immediately began extinguishing the fire in the control room and technical facilities of the gas station, which had been engulfed in flames.

Thanks to the firefighters’ professional actions, the destructive blaze was brought under control in time, preventing an explosion of the fuel tanks. Rescuers noted that three people were injured as a result of the attack.

Medical personnel immediately provided first aid to all injured citizens at the scene, after which they were hospitalized.

In addition to the damage to the gas station complex itself, the private property of city residents also sustained significant damage.

It is reported that rescue workers extinguished the fire and inspected the areas where the strikes occurred; two civilian vehicles were damaged in the process.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service.
