Occupiers struck a mine in the Dnipropetrovsk region; one person was killed
Russian troops attacked the Pavlohrad District in the Dnipropetrovsk Region. The strike damaged an industrial facility, and there is one fatality and one person wounded.
"The enemy struck the Bohdanivka community in the Pavlohrad district. A fire broke out. An industrial facility was damaged," he wrote.
A 52-year-old man was killed in the attack, and a 47-year-old man was wounded. Doctors are providing the injured man with the necessary medical care.
Later, DTEK reported that the enemy had attacked one of their mines.
"On August 17, Russian drones launched a massive attack on the territory of one of DTEK’s mines in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Unfortunately, our colleague was killed in the attack. We extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. Another employee was injured. Medical personnel provided him with the necessary care," the statement reads.
The attack caused significant damage to the company’s infrastructure. The full extent of the damage is still being assessed.
Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, wrote about this on Telegram.
