Overnight, Odesa once again became a target of enemy drone attacks. As a result of the strike, one man was killed and two others were injured. A fire caused by the shelling destroyed two vehicles and a gas pipeline.
Residential buildings were damaged, including the roof and rooftop equipment of a 24-storey building, as well as passenger cars and a sports club, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported.
More than 50 rescue workers and 13 pieces of equipment were deployed to deal with the aftermath of the attack. The Head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, said that not only residential buildings but also utility infrastructure had been damaged as a result of the shelling.
“Unfortunately, there were casualties. Despite resuscitation efforts, the man could not be saved. According to preliminary data, two more people were injured. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out, with two vehicles and a gas pipeline burning,” the statement said.

The roof and rooftop equipment of a 24-storey residential building were also damaged, along with six passenger cars, a fitness club building, and the glazing of nearby buildings.
This incident is part of a broader escalation of the conflict, as on the same night Russian occupying forces also attacked the Kharkiv region, where civilian casualties were also reported.
