Since the beginning of the year, Russia has attacked Naftogaz facilities nearly 100 times
From January to April 2026, Russian forces carried out 96 attacks on facilities belonging to the Naftogaz Group.
This was reported by Serhiy Koretskyi, Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
According to him, all key areas of the company’s operations were targeted—gas and oil production and transportation, thermal power generation, as well as gas stations.
Koretsky emphasized that the past heating season was the most difficult in the country’s history, and attacks on energy infrastructure continue to this day.
He also reported that since the start of the full-scale war, the company has lost 320 employees, 19 of whom died in 2026.
Additionally, a photo exhibition dedicated to Naftogaz’s work during the heating season opened in Kyiv and will run until May 17.
In Dnipro, a bus was destroyed and a residential building, a store, and cars were damaged as a result of the strike. There is also damage in Zaporizhzhia.
As a result of the Russian night attack on April 30 in Odesa, extensive damage to residential infrastructure was recorded, with the Primorskyi district suffering the most.
