In Kupiansk, the Charter carried out a full-scale combat operation without human involvement (video)

Fighters from the "Charter" unit destroyed a position held by Russian occupiers in Kupiansk using only robotic systems. The operation was carried out without any direct involvement of military personnel on the battlefield.

This was reported on May 1 by the 13th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine “Charter.”

The operation took place back in February. At that time, the “Lava” unmanned systems regiment destroyed 10 occupiers who were holding a position in the city.

To destroy the occupiers’ positions, the servicemen used various types of drones—attack UAVs equipped with grenade launchers, missiles from a ground-based robotic complex, and hundreds of kilograms of explosives on kamikaze drones.

As a result of the operation, the Russian stronghold was destroyed, and the occupiers and ammunition depot were eliminated.

“No soldiers were deployed on the battlefield during the operation. But it is important to remember that behind these scenes are dozens of ‘backroom staff’—planners, scouts, operators, engineers, mechanics, and communications specialists,” the unit noted.

As a reminder, the Ministry of Defense has added ground-based robotic systems to the DOT-Chain Defense weapons marketplace.

The Ukrainian Army is procuring Protector robotic systems.

Lithuania has announced a fundraiser for robotic systems for the Armed Forces of Ukraine: how much they plan to raise.
