Beijing urges parties in the Ukrainian conflict to avoid further escalation
China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called on all parties involved to refrain from expanding the conflict, escalating military actions, and provoking incidents. This appeal, made in 2024, aims to foster de-escalation and create conditions for political resolution of the crisis.
Chinese MFA spokesperson Lin Jiang emphasized adhering to three key principles for peace: preventing the spread of the conflict, avoiding aggravation of the military situation, and refraining from provocations. China's stance reflects its commitment to multilateral diplomatic solutions.
This call may serve as an important signal to the international community and contribute to reducing tensions in the region. Future efforts could focus on promoting dialogue and peaceful conflict resolution.
