A hospital evacuated from Mariupol was damaged during the attack on Kyiv
As a result of the Russian shelling of Kyiv on the night of July 2, the Regional Intensive Care Hospital—which had previously been evacuated from the temporarily occupied city of Mariupol—was damaged.
In Kyiv, the Regional Intensive Care Hospital, which had been evacuated from Mariupol in Donetsk Oblast, was damaged as a result of overnight shelling.
This was reported by Vadym Filashkin, head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration.
As noted, this medical facility had already survived the blockade of Mariupol, evacuation, the loss of its home, and relocation. Its doctors endured the most terrifying days of full-scale war, but they did not stop. They continued to work, save lives, and restore medical care for residents of Donetsk Oblast from their new location in Kyiv.
“Today, the enemy struck again at a place where people are treated and saved,” Filashkin emphasized.

It is noted that the operating room sustained minor damage. Specialists will still need to inspect the equipment. The premises have already been partially restored; next, an assessment report will be drawn up and the scope of work determined.
The outpatient clinic sustained the most damage—the damage there is significant.
“Russia is not only waging war against the military. It is striking hospitals, schools, residential areas—everything that sustains normal human life,” added the head of the Regional Military Administration.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga urged Western partners not to delay decisions on providing Ukraine with additional air defense capabilities following yet another massive Russian attack on Kyiv.
As a result of the massive Russian attack on the night of July 2, public transportation routes in Kyiv have been altered. This was caused by damage to the overhead power lines, a power outage, and cleanup efforts following the enemy shelling.
