Peskov stated that Russia will continue the war until it achieves its goals
Russia has no plans to end the war against Ukraine until it considers its interests to be fully secured. This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
According to him, Moscow will continue its so-called “special military operation” to achieve its stated goals, focusing primarily on its own national interests.
At the same time, the Kremlin continues to express its readiness for negotiations, although Peskov did not mention Russia’s refusal to cease further hostilities.
As a reminder, Russia has rejected all options for a grain deal that could allow for the resumption of agricultural exports via the Black Sea. Ukraine’s Minister of Agrarian Policy, Taras Vysotsky, told Bloomberg about this. According to him, Kyiv received this information from countries that had attempted to establish a dialogue with Moscow.
Currently, Ukraine and Russia have effectively drawn level in terms of grain export volumes in absolute terms.
