After the Russian attacks on the Kharkiv–Poltava highway, not a single gas station remained operational
Russian troops have destroyed all gas stations along the section of the M-03 highway between Kharkiv and Poltava. In total, more than 80 gas stations in the Kharkiv region have been destroyed as a result of Russian attacks.
Oleksandr Skoryk, a member of the Kharkiv Regional Council, reported this on July 27 during an appearance on the Espreso TV channel. According to him, the Russians destroyed the last functioning gas station on this section of the highway on July 26 in the village of Valky. He urged drivers to stock up on fuel in advance if they plan to travel along the Kharkiv–Poltava highway.
“As of today, all gas stations located on the Kharkiv–Kyiv highway between Kharkiv and Poltava have been completely destroyed,” Skoryk stated.
At the same time, the lawmaker emphasized that despite massive strikes on infrastructure, there is no fuel or food shortage in the region.
“There is no crisis whatsoever—neither a fuel crisis nor a food crisis. More than 200 gas stations have been destroyed in Ukraine, of which over 80 are in Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region. But there is no crisis; life continues as usual,” he said.
According to Skoryk, Russian troops also continue to actively attack the Kharkiv region with various types of weapons, in particular, increasingly using radio-controlled and fiber-optic drones. In addition, strikes on civilian infrastructure have been recorded recently, including a vehicle that was delivering bread.
