The police have released photos showing the aftermath of the nighttime attack on Kyiv
On the night of April 16, the Russian terrorist army launched yet another massive attack on the Ukrainian capital, focusing its main assault on the right bank of Kyiv.
As a result of the enemy’s actions, four people were killed, including a 12-year-old boy, and another 48 people were injured to varying degrees.
According to official data from the National Police of Ukraine, the victims of the nighttime shelling included a child, two men, and a woman.
The number of casualties is still being updated, but at least 48 residents of the capital are known to have been injured.
Among those injured are a nine-year-old boy and three police officers.
Separately, four medical workers were reported injured after coming under fire while responding to a call to provide first aid to injured Kyiv residents.
The Podil and Obolon districts of the city suffered the most damage, where hits and falling debris on civilian objects were recorded.
The occupiers targeted densely built-up areas, damaging both high-rise buildings and private homes.
In addition to the residential sector, commercial and urban infrastructure facilities sustained significant damage.

Over the past 24 hours, from 7:00 a.m. on April 15 to 7:00 a.m. on April 16, Ukraine’s air defense forces neutralized 667 aerial targets used by Russia to attack the country’s territory.
In Dnipro, the death toll from the Russian forces’ nighttime attack has risen. As of now, two people are known to have been killed and 27 wounded.
At least four people were killed. Another 21 people were injured.
Earlier, Russian troops attacked the Bila Tserkva district in the Kyiv region, resulting in a fire at one of the enterprises.
