Border guards from the STRIKS unit destroyed 13 Shahed-type kamikaze drones
Servicemen of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine successfully repelled yet another massive attack by Russian occupation forces in the South Slobozhansky direction.
Thanks to the coordinated actions of the air defense crews of the “STRIKS” unit, more than ten enemy aerial targets attempting to penetrate deep into our country’s territory were destroyed.
During active combat operations, Ukrainian defenders quickly detected and effectively engaged the enemy’s attack drones.
According to updated operational data, border guards managed to destroy 13 “Shahed-131/136” kamikaze drones, which posed a direct threat to civilian and military infrastructure.
The unit’s command released video footage showing highlights of the successful air defense operations.
“Border guards from the ‘STRIKS’ unit in the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector destroyed 13 Shahed-type attack UAVs during another enemy attack,” the caption accompanying the video of the combat operation states.
This successful interception once again demonstrates the high level of professional training of the State Border Guard Service personnel.
Continuous improvement of skills in countering enemy drones allows our soldiers to effectively minimize the consequences of enemy attacks and defend Ukrainian airspace from terrorist raids.
The situation in the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector remains tense, but Ukrainian defense forces continue to confidently control the airspace.
Every piece of enemy equipment destroyed significantly weakens the capabilities of the Russian army and saves the lives of many Ukrainians who are in the potential strike zone.
