The Air Force shot down 131 enemy drones during a nighttime attack
On the night of May 20, Russian invaders launched a massive attack on Ukrainian territory, using ballistic weapons and more than 150 unmanned aerial vehicles.

Air defense forces managed to neutralize most of the enemy air targets in several regions.
The enemy used both strike drones and the latest modifications of equipment to wear down Ukrainian defenders.
According to official sources, the enemy used the Iskander-M ballistic missile for the strikes, as well as 154 Shahed-type attack UAVs, including jet-powered models.
In addition, the use of “Gerbera” and “Italmas” drones, as well as special decoy drones of the “Parody” type, was recorded.
“On the night of May 20, Russian invaders attacked with an Iskander-M ballistic missile, 154 Shahed-type strike UAVs, including jet-powered ones, Gerbera, Italmas, and Parody-type decoy drones,” the Air Force reported.
The Ukrainian military demonstrated high effectiveness in repelling this large-scale aerial threat.
“According to preliminary data, as of 8:00 a.m., air defense forces shot down and neutralized 131 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types in the north, south, and east of the country,” the report noted.
Mobile fire groups, aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, as well as electronic warfare and unmanned systems units were deployed to neutralize the threat.
