Putin's Ceasefire: An Elderly Man Was Injured in a Drone Attack in the Kharkiv Region

Russian forces struck a civilian vehicle with an FPV drone in the village of Lyutivka, Zolochiv community, injuring a 70-year-old local resident. 

This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine, noting that the incident occurred on the afternoon of April 12. The victim was promptly transported to a medical facility for treatment, and his vehicle sustained significant damage.

 Investigative and operational teams worked at the scene, documenting yet another war crime committed by the occupiers against the civilian population. Law enforcement officials once again urge residents of frontline areas to exercise extreme caution due to the high activity of enemy unmanned aerial vehicles. Criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding the violation of the laws and customs of war.

The Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, is preparing an appeal to the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross regarding the execution of four Ukrainian prisoners of war and an evacuation team. The execution took place during the declared Easter ceasefire. 

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin announced a temporary cessation of hostilities on the front lines, effective from 4:00 p.m. Moscow time on April 11 until the end of the day on April 12, 2026.
