FP-5 "Flamingo" missiles struck a factory in Volgograd

In Volgograd, Russia, one of the facilities of the military-industrial complex was hit following the launch of FP-5 “Flamingo” missiles. According to preliminary reports, the strike targeted production facilities at a plant that manufactures equipment for the Russian military.

One of the key defense industry facilities in Volgograd, Russia, was attacked. This was reported by Serhiy Sternenko, an advisor to the Ukrainian Minister of Defense on improving the effectiveness of drone use, who released a video showing the launch of FP-5 “Flamingo” missiles.

According to him, the target was the joint-stock company “Federal Scientific and Production Center ‘Titan-Barikady,’” which is part of the Russian military-industrial complex. This enterprise manufactures launchers for the “Yars” and “Topol-M” strategic missile systems, as well as components for the “Iskander-M” operational-tactical missile systems and artillery components for the “Msta-S” self-propelled artillery systems. “Preliminary reports indicate that three facilities on the plant’s grounds were hit: Workshop No. 2, the production building of Workshop No. 38, and a workshop of unknown purpose,” Sternenko noted.

Following the strike, damage to the plant’s production infrastructure was observed, though detailed information on the extent of the damage is currently being verified. The "Titan-Barikady" plant is a key component of Russia’s defense industry, responsible for manufacturing components for strategic weapons systems. Serhiy Sternenko, an advisor to the Ukrainian Minister of Defense on improving the effectiveness of drone use on the front lines, reported this on Telegram.
