Russia attacked a DTEK energy facility in Odesa, leaving tens of thousands of people without power

Russian forces have once again struck energy infrastructure in Odesa, leaving tens of thousands of families without power.

This was reported by the DTEK press center.

The company noted that on the night of May 20, Odesa came under heavy shelling, during which an energy facility was hit.

“On the night of May 20, Odesa came under heavy enemy shelling. Tens of thousands of families were left without power,” the statement said.

As of this morning, power engineers have managed to partially restore power to residents’ homes, but emergency repair work is ongoing.

Specialists continue to address the aftermath of the attack and restore damaged power lines.

As a result of new Russian attacks, as of the morning of May 20, consumers in six regions of Ukraine were left without power. In addition, due to heavy rains and thunderstorms, more than 30 settlements in three regions were partially or completely without power.

The Russian army launched another strike on civilian infrastructure in the Kherson region, using an unmanned aerial vehicle.
