Russia attacked an ambulance crew in the Kharkiv region with an FPV drone
Russian forces struck an emergency medical vehicle with a drone in the village of Hrushevka, Kupianskyi District.
According to a report by the National Police dated March 19, 2026, an enemy drone exploded directly next to the vehicle while medical personnel were performing their duties. As a result of the attack, a 57-year-old paramedic and a 31-year-old driver sustained acoustic trauma, and the vehicle sustained significant damage.

The blast wave shattered the side windows of the emergency vehicle and damaged the rear lights. Law enforcement agencies immediately launched an investigation into the Russian Federation’s violation of the laws and customs of war. This is yet another instance of a deliberate attack on civilian humanitarian infrastructure in the frontline areas of Kharkiv Oblast.
Currently, the victims are receiving necessary medical care, and investigative and operational teams continue to work at the scene. The Russian Federation’s systematic attacks on medical personnel and rescue services remain a serious challenge to the safety of the civilian population in the region. The situation in the Kupiansk district remains tense due to the occupiers’ constant use of strike drones and artillery.
In the Kutsurub community of the Mykolaiv region, a Russian FPV drone struck an ambulance. The driver and a doctor were injured and hospitalized; they are receiving all necessary medical care.
