Russia is attempting to push through Zherebets in the Kupiansk-Lymansk direction
Russian troops are attempting to cross the Zherebets River, but these attempts have not yet had a significant impact on the situation.
This was reported by Viktor Tregubov, spokesperson for the Joint Forces Operation, in a comment to Ukrinform.
"Regarding the Zherebets River—yes, there are attempts to cross it, but so far this has not had a significant impact," he noted.
According to the spokesperson, Russian invaders have carried out similar actions in the past, but without significant results.
"There is now a much higher density of UAVs in the area," Tregubov added.
What happened before?
Over the past day, April 3, in the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attacked eight times in the area of Borivska Andriivka and toward Kivsharivka, Novoosynove, and Novoplatonivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked twice, attempting to breach our defenses toward Dibrova and Novosergiivka.
