Russia is redeploying air defense systems to Moscow and the Crimean Bridge in response to Ukrainian strikes — Zelenskyy

Russia has been forced to redeploy additional air defense systems to Moscow and the area around the Crimean Bridge due to the effectiveness of Ukraine’s long-range strikes on Russian territory.

This was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to him, Ukrainian intelligence has obtained internal Russian documents indicating that the attacks have had a significant impact on Russian military and strategic targets. In response, the Kremlin has designated Moscow and the Crimean Bridge as priority targets for defense.

Zelenskyy noted that to strengthen the defense of these sites, the Russian command is redeploying air defense assets from other regions of Russia and from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

The president emphasized that such actions weaken defenses in other areas, which could have consequences for the Russian defense system.
