Russia attacked its own soldiers with drones near Chasiv Yar during the "ceasefire"
Russian troops violated the ceasefire by using drones to kill three unarmed fighters who turned out to be their own captured comrades.
This was reported by the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo.
To verify the enemy’s promises regarding safe medical evacuation, the Ukrainian command dressed the three captured occupiers in neutral uniforms and sent them along a test route without weapons. Despite clear signs that they were receiving medical care, Russian units opened fire to kill, resulting in the deaths of Staff Sergeant Stanislav Zhuravlev, Private Oleksandr Choshev, and Junior Sergeant Andriy Zahrebin. The brigade noted that the occupiers do not keep their word even regarding their own forces, destroying them during an officially declared ceasefire. Video evidence of the incident has now been released to document yet another violation of international conventions by the enemy.
The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine has opened a criminal investigation into yet another war crime committed by Russian servicemen. According to the investigation, the invaders cynically killed four Ukrainian prisoners near the village of Veterinarne in the Kharkiv region.
Dmytro Lubinets, the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, is preparing an appeal to the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross regarding the shooting of four Ukrainian prisoners of war and an evacuation team. The shooting took place during the declared Easter ceasefire.
