Russia begins launching Shahed drones with double warheads – photo
Russian forces have begun using Shahed‑136 attack drones equipped with two warheads instead of a single 50‑kg charge, significantly increasing their destructive power.
This was reported by Ukrainian radio‑technology expert Serhii Beskrestnov, known by the call sign “Flash,” who published photos of the new drone modification. According to the expert, the total weight of the warhead reaches 100 kg.
Specialists warn that this upgrade makes drone strikes far more powerful and dangerous for civilians, military personnel, and critical infrastructure, including residential buildings and energy facilities.
Earlier, Russia had already upgraded its Shahed drones to enable maneuvering to evade Ukrainian interceptor drones.
