Russia dropped bombs on Zaporizhzhia: thousands of people are without power

On the morning of July 8, Russian troops launched several guided airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the attack, thousands of customers were left without power; residential buildings, a business, and a garage cooperative were damaged; and there are reports of injuries.

 

As a result of the Russian attack in Zaporizhzhia, power was cut off to 15,342 customers. A total of 14,574 residential customers and 768 businesses were left without electricity. Utility workers are already working to restore the damaged infrastructure and restore power to residents.

One of the strikes hit a food processing plant. As a result, a production facility was destroyed, and a 43-year-old employee was injured. He is receiving the necessary medical care.

Another Russian guided aerial bomb struck the grounds of a garage cooperative. The explosion destroyed and damaged buildings.

According to regional authorities, two people—a 76-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman—were injured during the strike on the garage cooperative. They sought medical attention on their own.

Thus, according to the latest data, three people were injured as a result of the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia. Specialists continue to address the aftermath of the shelling and assess the extent of the damage.
