Russia strikes residential building in Dnipropetrovsk region: entrance destroyed, people may be trapped under rubble
On 24 February, Russian forces struck a residential building in the Synelnykove district of the Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result of the attack, one entrance section of the multi-storey building was destroyed, and people may remain trapped under the rubble.
This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, Mykola Lukashuk.
“The situation in the Synelnykove district is severe. The enemy is relentlessly attacking frontline communities with guided aerial bombs and UAVs. There are fatalities and injuries,” Lukashuk said.



According to him, the strike with guided aerial bombs targeted the Malomykhailivka community, partially destroying an entrance of a residential building.
Emergency search and rescue operations are currently ongoing. According to preliminary information, four people may be trapped under the debris.
“I urge all residents who refused mandatory evacuation. The threat is extremely serious. No property is worth your life,” Mykola Lukashuk stressed.
According to the regional prosecutor’s office, seven people were injured in the Russian strike on the Dnipropetrovsk region on 24 February.
On the night of 25 February, Russian forces launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine using 115 strike drones, including Shahed-type UAVs, as well as “Gerbera”, “Italmas” and other types. Around 60 of them were Shahed drones.
Over the past day, Russian troops also attacked 19 settlements in the Sumy region, where a civilian woman was injured. Information on the extent of the destruction is being clarified.
It was also reported that Russia destroyed an enterprise in the Sumy region with a missile strike.
A Ukrainian missile strike likely disabled a combined heat and power plant in Belgorod.
In the Russian city of Belgorod, there will be no hot water until the end of April.
In Belgorod region, more than 220,000 people remain without electricity.
