In seven months, Russia produced as many Zircons and Onyxes as it had planned for the entire year

On August 10, the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) stated that Russia had already fulfilled its annual production plan for “Zircon” and “Onyx” missiles, even though these weapons were originally designed for other purposes. According to Ukrainian intelligence, Russia achieved the required production volume in just seven months.

As of August 3, the enemy had already fulfilled its annual production plan for “Zircon” and “Onyx” missiles, as specified in the state defense order.

In the first seven months of this year, Russia produced:

  • 33 “Zircon” missiles;

  • 60 “Onyx” missiles.

Initially, both types of missiles were designed as anti-ship weapons. After modernization, the Russians began using them against ground targets as well.

This is reported in an RBC-Ukraine article titled “Russia Is Meeting Its Missile Production Target; a Pause in Shelling Is Unlikely: An Interview with Vadym Skibitsky, GUR.”

As a reminder, on Friday, August 7, a World Health Organization humanitarian warehouse in Dnipro was destroyed as a result of an attack. There were no people on the premises at the time of the strike, and no casualties were reported.

Over the past 24 hours, the occupiers lost 1,130 troops and more than 400 pieces of military equipment.

In the Kherson region, one person was killed and two were wounded as a result of Russian shelling.
