Russia has lost another 1,080 troops and 82 artillery systems in the war against Ukraine

The total combat losses of the Russian army in the war against Ukraine from February 24, 2022, to April 18, 2026, amount to approximately 1,317,150 personnel. In the past 24 hours alone, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated another 1,080 invaders.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

Additionally, according to updated data, Russia has lost a significant amount of military equipment:

  • tanks — 11,876 (+6 in the past 24 hours);
  • armored combat vehicles — 24,410 (+10);
  • artillery systems — 40,242 (+82);
  • multiple launch rocket systems — 1,743 (+4);
  • air defense systems — 1,349 (+0);
  • aircraft — 435 (+0);
  • helicopters — 350 (+0);
  • tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles — 245,112 (+2,104);
  • cruise missiles — 4,549 (+0);
  • ships and boats — 33 (+0);
  • submarines — 2 (+0);
  • vehicles and tankers — 90,194 (+180);
  • special equipment — 4,129 (+0).

The General Staff notes that data on enemy losses continues to be refined.

Over the past 24 hours, 118 combat engagements took place on the front lines; the Russian army has sharply intensified its attacks using aerial bombs, drones, and artillery, with the fiercest fighting occurring in the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka sectors.

Journalists have also identified the names of 212,188 Russian soldiers who have died since the start of the full-scale war against Ukraine.

Russian troops carried out a massive drone attack on the energy infrastructure of Zhytomyr Oblast, concentrating the strike of approximately 20 drones on a single substation.
