Russia has lost another 1,230 troops and seven air defense systems in the war against Ukraine
The total combat losses of the Russian army since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine have exceeded 1.385 million.
In the last 24 hours alone, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated another 1,230 invaders.
According to published data, as of February 24, 2022, Russian forces have lost:
- personnel – approximately 1,385,420 (+1,230 in the past 24 hours);
- tanks – 12,026 (+1);
- armored combat vehicles – 24,768 (+5);
- artillery systems – 44,118 (+36);
- multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) – 1,872 (+2);
- air defense systems – 1,427 (+7);
- aircraft – 436;
- helicopters – 353;
- tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) – 353,541 (+2,062);
- cruise missiles – 4,783 (+50);
- ground-based robotic systems – 1,667 (+3);
- vehicles and tankers – 107,508 (+417);
- special equipment – 4,300 (+4);
- ships and boats – 33;
- submarines – 2.
Enemy losses in the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) segment were particularly significant over the past 24 hours, with Ukrainian forces destroying an additional 2,062 UAVs, as well as 50 cruise missiles.
These figures are still being refined as combat operations continue on several fronts.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have significantly intensified strikes against Russian logistics along the so-called “land corridor” to Crimea. Since May, at least 375 attacks on trucks, fuel tankers, and other occupiers’ vehicles have been recorded.
During May 2026, 1,099 Russian invaders, 119 units of enemy weaponry and military equipment, as well as 36 other targets.
