Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have launched strikes on facilities belonging to the Naftogaz group in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions. The attacks have caused significant damage to infrastructure and triggered large-scale fires.

The company reported that one of the facilities in the Sumy region was struck again just a few hours later.
Naftogaz emphasized that Russian attacks on oil and gas infrastructure are effectively ongoing. Facilities in the Poltava and Dnipropetrovsk regions are also under attack.
The company stressed that the situation remains difficult, and specialists continue to work on mitigating the consequences of the shelling.
Prior to this, Russian troops had been intensively shelling Naftogaz Group oil and gas facilities in the Kharkiv and Poltava regions for over a day. The attacks resulted in large-scale fires and damage to production equipment. Emergency services are working to address the consequences of the strikes.
On the morning of May 19, Russian occupiers struck several gas infrastructure facilities in the Chernihiv region, damaging critically important equipment.
