UA NEWS 23 June 2026 10:09
Russia reported more than 290 civilian casualties over the past week

The number of civilians who were allegedly injured as a result of attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces over the past week has exceeded 290.

According to Miroshnyk, this is reportedly the highest weekly figure since the beginning of 2026, and the number of wounded over the past seven days has reached a “record high.”

He also claims that the Ukrainian side has intensified strikes on transportation infrastructure targets on Russian territory.

The report provides no independent confirmation of these figures.

Separately, Anna Evstigneeva, Russia’s deputy permanent representative to the UN, commented on reports of an attack on a bus carrying Belarusian children in the Bryansk region.

She stated that this incident could have been an attempt at provocation aimed at dragging Belarus into the conflict.

This was stated by Rodion Miroshnik, Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

As a reminder, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were able to completely halt the supply of food, fuel, and ammunition to Russian units on the Kinburn Spit.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported 246 combat engagements on the front lines over the past 24 hours.

The Russians are attempting to break through on the Lyman and Kupiansk fronts, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
