In Crimea, a fire broke out at a thermal power plant following the arrivals, and the power went out

On June 23 in Kerch, a series of explosions triggered a massive fire at a combined heat and power plant, leading to widespread power outages on the occupied peninsula.

Monitoring groups confirm the fire at the facility and note that one of the tanks was hit.

It is also reported that satellite monitoring data recorded a smoke plume approximately 47 kilometers long.

Meanwhile, the occupying authorities stated that the power outage was caused by “technical malfunctions in the power grids.” The company “Krymenergo” confirmed that emergency repairs were underway and promised to restore power within 24 hours.

Among the areas left without power were Yevpatoria, Saki, Krasnoperekopsk, Dzhankoy, the Krasnoperekopsk District, the Saki District, the Dzhankoy District, and the Krasnogvardeisky District.

The causes of the incident have not been officially specified, and emergency repair work is ongoing.

The number of civilians reportedly affected by attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces over the past week has exceeded 290. 

As a reminder, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have managed to completely halt the supply of food, fuel, and ammunition to Russian units on the Kinburn Spit. 

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported 246 combat engagements on the front lines over the past 24 hours.

The Russians are attempting to break through on the Lyman and Kupiansk fronts, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
