Russia launched massive strikes on four border regions of Ukraine
Over the past 24 hours and on the morning of July 27, Russian troops launched massive strikes on the Donetsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions.
The attacks killed civilians and injured dozens of people, including children. Residential buildings, educational institutions, and other civilian infrastructure were also damaged.
In the Donetsk region, Dobropillia, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, and other settlements came under fire. At least six civilians were injured. The Russians used guided aerial bombs, damaging high-rise buildings, private homes, vehicles, and educational institutions.
In the Kharkiv region, a 40-year-old woman was killed as a result of Russian strikes, and 22 more people were injured, including a 10-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl. The occupiers attacked the region with missiles, KAB bombs, and various types of drones, damaging dozens of residential buildings, administrative buildings, warehouses, gas stations, and medical facilities.
In the Sumy region, a civilian from the Velykopysarivska community was killed in Russian attacks. Eight more people were wounded, including an 11-year-old girl. The strikes damaged residential buildings, a hospital, educational institutions, stores, and other civilian infrastructure.
In the Chernihiv region, the Semenivska and Horodnyanska communities came under fire. Russian troops used FPV drones, artillery, mortars, and unmanned aerial vehicles to attack border settlements.

On the morning of July 26, Russian troops struck Kryvyi Rih. The attack caused a fire in a shopping center.
As a reminder, on the night of July 25–26, Russian forces launched an attack on Kyiv, resulting in fires in the Desnianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Solomianskyi districts of the capital. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
