Russia has launched more than 600 strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region
Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army carried out 629 strikes on 40 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. One person was killed and another was wounded as a result of the attacks.
This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, on Telegram.
According to him, shelling was recorded in the Zaporizhzhia and Polohiv districts. Russian forces used missiles, aircraft, artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, and drones.
In particular, the occupiers launched two missile strikes on Rezidivka. Additionally, 23 airstrikes were carried out on a number of settlements, including Komyshuvakha, Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Novomykolaivka, and others.
The most intense attacks were carried out by drones—416 strikes by various types of drones, predominantly FPV, were recorded over the past 24 hours. Dozens of settlements were hit, including those near the front lines.
In addition, Russian troops used MLRS six times and opened artillery fire on the region’s territory 182 times.
There were 117 reports of damage to residential buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure.
On the morning of April 24, the Mykolaiv district came under attack by Russian invaders, who used “Shahed”-type kamikaze drones.
