Situation on the front lines on April 24: The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled dozens of attacks in the Pokrovsk direction
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 36 enemy assaults.
Over the past 24 hours, 194 combat engagements took place. Defense forces continue to hold their positions firmly, inflicting significant losses on the occupiers. Ukrainian troops are actively countering the enemy’s attempts to advance, effectively striking their forces.
Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile strike, fired two missiles, and carried out 83 airstrikes, dropping 277 guided bombs. In addition, they deployed 6,620 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,757 attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions, including 155 using multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor carried out airstrikes, specifically in the areas of settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region—Prosyana, Pysanka; in Zaporizhzhia, Lisne, Zorivka, Novomykolaivka, Vozdvyzhivka, Dolynka, Lyubytske, Tsvitkove, Verkhnia Tersa, Huliaipilske, Charivne, Zelena Dolyna, Chervona Krynytsia, Orikhiv, and Hryhorivka were affected by airstrikes.

In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions
Yesterday, the enemy attacked our defenders’ units four times, carried out one airstrike using three guided bombs, and fired 97 rounds at our troops’ positions and populated areas, including four using multiple-launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction
The enemy attacked the positions of our units six times in the directions of the settlements of Zelen, Lyman, Bochkove, and in the area of the settlement of Synelnykove.
In the Kupiansk direction
The enemy attacked nine times in the direction of the settlements of Radkivka, Podoly, Kurylivka, Novoosynove, and Hlushevka.
In the Lyman direction
The enemy attempted to breach our defenses four times, attacking toward Lyman.
In the Sloviansk direction
Over the past 24 hours, our defenders repelled three attempts by the occupiers to advance in the Zakytne area and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kostyantynivka direction
The enemy carried out 18 attacks near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Stepanivka, Sofiivka, and Novopavlivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction
Our defenders repelled 36 assaults by the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Kucheriiv Yar, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Udachne, Nikanorivka, Kotlyne, Muravka, Molodetske, and toward Bilytske, Myrne, and Novopavlivka.
In the Oleksandrivka direction
The enemy launched 12 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Zelenyi Hai, Kalynivske, Zlagoda, Ternove, Vorone, and in the direction of Oleksandrohrad and Lisne.
In the Huliaipole direction
There were 26 attacks by the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Dobropillia, Solodke, Staroukrainka, Varvarivka, Olenokostyantynivka, Sviatopetrivka, Charivne, Zaliznychne, Huliaipilske, and Zelen.
In the Orikhiv direction
Our defenders repelled four enemy attempts to advance toward Primorske and in the Plavni area.
In the Dnipro direction
The occupiers carried out three assaults toward the Antonivsky Bridge and Bilohrudy Island.
On the front line, there were 118 battles in the past 24 hours; the heaviest fighting took place in the Kostyantynivka and Pokrovsk directions.
Journalists have also identified the names of 212,188 Russian soldiers who have died since the start of the full-scale war against Ukraine.
Russian troops carried out a massive drone attack on the energy infrastructure of the Zhytomyr region, concentrating the strike of approximately 20 drones on a single substation.
