Three people were killed and seven wounded in Donetsk Oblast over the past 24 hours as a result of shelling
Russian occupation forces continue to intensively shell settlements in the Donetsk region, resulting in new civilian casualties.
Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, reported on the current situation.
On April 23, three residents of the region were killed as a result of enemy attacks, and seven more people were wounded to varying degrees.
The Pokrovsk and Kramatorsk districts suffered the heaviest casualties over the past 24 hours, where the enemy actively used artillery and aviation.
“On April 23, the Russians killed three residents of Donetsk Oblast: two in Oleksandrivka and one in Mykhailivka. Another seven people in the region were wounded over the past 24 hours,” the head of the Regional Military Administration specified in his statement.
Specifically, in Mykhailivka, a person was killed and a private vehicle was damaged by an enemy shell. In Oleksandrivka, two civilians who were in their own homes lost their lives due to the invaders’ strikes.
The total number of victims of Russian aggression in the government-controlled part of Donetsk Oblast has reached 4,034 dead and 9,345 injured.
These figures do not include Mariupol and Volnovakha, where it is currently impossible to determine the exact number of people killed by the occupiers.
In addition to human casualties, significant damage to civilian infrastructure has been recorded in the Kramatorsk and Bakhmut districts.
In Tetyanivka, Svyatogorsk community, a residential building and a non-residential building were damaged, and in Raigorodok, two private homes were destroyed.
