Russia is attacking Zaporizhzhia with FPV drones; one person has been injured
Since the morning of September 19, Russian troops have been attacking Zaporizhzhia with FPV drones. A civilian man was injured as a result of the strikes.
This was reported on Telegram by Mikhail Semikin, acting head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
“There have been strikes on vehicles, the roadway, and the impound lot. Several drones fell without exploding. One man was injured—a Russian drone struck a truck traveling on the Zaporizhzhia–Donetsk highway. The driver sustained injuries and was hospitalized,” the message states.
Semikin urged city residents not to remain in open areas during an air raid alert and not to approach the sites where drones have crashed. Even if a UAV has not exploded, it can still be dangerous.
“We are strengthening Zaporizhzhia’s defenses against FPV drones. Public safety is currently one of the main issues we are working on,” the official emphasized.
As a reminder, Russian invaders suffered 1,520 casualties over the past day. One tank, five armored combat vehicles, and 73 artillery systems were also neutralized.
Occupied Donetsk and a significant portion of the region’s territory temporarily seized by Russian terrorists were left without power on September 18.
On the night of Saturday, September 19, the Russian terrorist army struck Pavlohrad. A fire has been reported.
