Russia attacked a vehicle carrying humanitarian aid and an ambulance station in the Kharkiv region
In the village of Zolochiv in the Kharkiv region, Russian troops attacked a vehicle belonging to a charitable organization that was being used to distribute humanitarian aid to local residents. No one was injured.
A drone struck the vehicle just as food packages were being distributed.
“The occupiers struck Zolochiv while humanitarian aid was being distributed. This morning, an enemy drone struck a vehicle belonging to a charitable organization. At that moment, volunteers were distributing food packages to local residents,” the statement said.
No one was injured as a result of the attack. Regional authorities also reported Russian strikes on Zolochiv and other settlements in the Kharkiv region.
In addition to the strike on the vehicle carrying humanitarian aid, Russian troops attacked an emergency medical services base in Velykyi Burluk, Kupianskyi District, three times last night.
The regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine noted that the shelling occurred in waves using “Shahed” drones.
“Three waves of ‘Shahed’ drones. Explosions. Fire. A destroyed building. The enemy targeted the very place where those who save lives every day work. But this time, the worst did not happen,” the center’s post reads.
There were no medical personnel inside the building at the time of the strikes, as word of a possible attack had spread the day before.
The Emergency Medical Care Center explained that information about a marker on the enemy’s map served as the basis for the early relocation of medical teams from the dangerous facility.
“Information about the marker on the enemy’s map had emerged the day before. A decision was made to relocate the teams from this facility. So, as before, emergency medical services are operating in the Velykyi Burlutsk community. The ambulances are ready to respond. Medical equipment is intact. Starlink and charging stations are operational. And most importantly—the staff are at their posts. Those working in Velykyi Burluk are true heroes,” the center emphasized.
Despite the destroyed building, emergency medical services in the Velykyi Burluk community continue to operate, and the teams are ready to respond to calls.
This was reported by Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, on Facebook.
