Russia attacked Khmelnytskyi, triggering a massive fire
On the morning of April 1, Russian troops launched an attack on Khmelnytskyi, resulting in a large-scale fire at one of the local industrial facilities.
Serhiy Tyurin, head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.
“During the morning ‘Air Raid’ alert, air defense forces were operating in the region. As a result of the enemy attack, a fire broke out on the premises of a facility in the regional center. Units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine have been deployed to extinguish it,” he noted.
According to the official, as of now, there have been no reports of casualties or injuries.



The State Emergency Service of Ukraine clarified that the fire was quickly extinguished. Fifty-one rescuers and nine pieces of equipment were deployed to fight the fire.
Currently, experts are continuing to determine all the circumstances and consequences of the enemy attack.


In Velyka Pysarivka, Sumy region, gas distribution infrastructure was damaged as a result of another attack by Russian troops.
Russian troops attacked a civilian vehicle in the Velyka Pysarivka community in Sumy region, dropping explosives from a drone. A man was killed in the strike.
On March 31, Russian invaders attacked infrastructure facilities in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region.
