Russia attacked a facility in Novhorod-Siverskyi

On the night of September 1, Russian forces launched a drone strike on a facility in Novhorod-Siverskyi, Chernihiv Oblast. The facility sustained damage as a result of the attack.

 

On August 31, between 11:45 p.m. and 11:55 p.m., at least six strikes by enemy UAVs were recorded on the territory of one of the local industrial facilities.

The type of drones is currently being determined, and more detailed information regarding the consequences of the strikes is being clarified.

This was reported by Oleksandr Seliverstov, head of the Novhorod-Siverskyi District Military Administration.

As a reminder, a massive attack on the Kyiv region has left one person dead and eight wounded.

Russia also launched a massive missile attack on Kyiv overnight, resulting in fatalities.

In Kyiv’s Shevchenkivskyi District, a fire broke out in a non-residential building as a result of a Russian drone attack. Emergency services are on the scene, dealing with the aftermath of the strike.

In Kyiv, rescue workers extinguished a large-scale fire that broke out in the Holosiivskyi district following a Russian attack on the morning of August 30. The fire engulfed a non-residential building covering an area of about 3,000 square meters; there were no casualties or injuries.
