Nighttime attack on the Zhytomyr region: businesses and warehouses damaged
Overnight, Russian troops attacked the Zhytomyr region. The Zvyagel and Korosten communities came under attack, where damage to businesses and warehouses was reported.
Consequences of the strikes in the Zviahel and Korosten communities
According to the Regional State Administration, industrial facilities and warehouses were damaged.
Rescuers from the State Emergency Service have already extinguished one of the fires at the sites of the enemy strikes. Efforts to extinguish the second fire are ongoing.
Information on casualties and documentation of war crimes
: “At this time, there are no reports of casualties or injuries. The surrounding areas are being checked for explosive devices, and Russian war crimes against civilian infrastructure are being documented,” the statement reads.

Zelenskyy reported that the Russian Federation’s nighttime attack claimed the lives of 12 people.
Earlier, Russia attacked a facility in Novhorod-Siverskyi.
As a reminder, a massive attack on the Kyiv region has left one person dead and eight wounded.
Russia also launched a massive missile attack on Kyiv overnight, resulting in fatalities.
