Russia has reduced the activity of its sabotage and reconnaissance groups near the borders of Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions — State Border Guard Service
Recently, the activity of Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups near the borders of the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions has decreased significantly.
Despite changes in Russian forces’ approaches to conducting combat operations in this area, the threat of enemy saboteurs infiltrating the region remains a concern for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Border guards continue to hold defensive positions and closely monitor any enemy movements near the state border.
Currently, Russian troops have completely revised their tactics near the Ukrainian border.
This was officially announced by Andriy Demchenko, spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
According to him, a significant decrease in the activity of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups in the northern and northeastern sectors has been observed for quite some time.
The main reason for these changes in the occupiers’ behavior was a reassessment of the Russian military command’s overall priorities.
