VIDEO: The Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) showed the destruction of a Russian fuel tanker on the highway between Nova Kakhovka and Melitopol
Fighters from the “Sargas” unit of the Active Operations Department of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine struck a Russian fuel tanker on the highway between Nova Kakhovka and Melitopol.
According to the Main Intelligence Directorate, the occupiers were using the fuel tanker to supply their units and attempted to disguise it as a civilian truck.
A video released shows a Ukrainian FPV drone catching up to the vehicle and striking the driver’s cab directly.
After the strike, the fuel tanker caught fire but continued moving for some time. The footage also shows a Russian soldier falling out of the burning vehicle while it was still moving.
The Main Intelligence Directorate emphasized that the “Sargas” unit continues to disrupt logistics routes and destroy Russian military equipment in the temporarily occupied territories.
