Russia struck Zaporizhzhia with a KAB missile, destroying a building
On the morning of August 19, a Russian guided aerial bomb destroyed a private home in one of Zaporizhzhia’s neighborhoods. The strike caused a fire, and the blast wave and debris damaged nearby residential buildings and outbuildings. Reports that a person might have been trapped under the rubble were not confirmed.
“A fire broke out, and nearby homes and outbuildings were damaged by the blast wave and debris,” according to a statement by Mayor Ivan Fedorov.
Fedorov noted that reports of a person trapped under the rubble have not yet been confirmed.
