Russia attacked Dnipro overnight: there are casualties
On the night of May 20, Russian forces launched an attack on Dnipro, resulting in civilian casualties. A large-scale fire broke out in the city following the attack. Details regarding the number of casualties and the extent of the damage are still being confirmed.
This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha.
“The enemy attacked Dnipro. A fire broke out,” Ganza wrote.
Local Telegram channels also reported that a massive fire is raging in one of the districts due to a ballistic strike, and rescue workers have already arrived at the scene.
As a result of the attack, five people were injured, all of whom have been hospitalized. Two men and a woman are in critical condition. A 25-year-old victim is in moderate condition.
Russian attacks on Dnipro have destroyed food warehouses.
