Russian occupation forces continue to carry out active offensive operations on several key sections of the line of contact, but no significant or strategic breaches of the defenses have been recorded.

At the same time, the invaders have become noticeably more active in the border areas of Sumy Oblast, where they are attempting to create additional points of tension for Ukrainian defenders.

According to military analysts, the enemy has stepped up its activities near the state border in the Sumy region.

Experts have documented repeated attempts by Russian units to infiltrate border areas, which directly indicates the enemy’s clear intent to create a so-called buffer zone along the border.

In the Kharkiv sector, the Russians also carried out isolated infiltration raids near Kozacha Lopana and northeast of Kharkiv.

Despite the loud claims by Russian propagandists about an allegedly successful advance, there have been no confirmed changes to the actual front line in these areas.

In the Kupiansk and Borova areas, Russian troops continue their daily attacks, but Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding back this powerful onslaught.

At the same time, the Russians have significantly intensified drone strikes on roads and civilian infrastructure in all frontline areas of the Kharkiv region, attempting to completely block logistics.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy attempted to conduct reconnaissance-and-assault operations and infiltrate individual settlements. At the same time, Ukrainian forces are successfully detecting such enemy groups and delivering precise preemptive fire strikes against them.

Despite an active Russian information campaign claiming significant successes in the Lyman area, there is currently no independent confirmation of these claims.

The situation near Kostiantynivka remains quite complex, with the occupiers claiming to be advancing into the city.

However, the Ukrainian command emphasizes that the Defense Forces are firmly holding their positions, and the number of Russian troops inside the town remains limited.

Intense fighting continues in the Pokrovsk, Novopavlivka, and Dobropillia sectors, where the occupiers are attempting to put pressure on Ukrainian defenses but have not achieved any confirmed significant territorial gains.

This is according to a report by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
